Special Event Bulletin Archive (2000-present)

The Special Event Bulletin Archive is a database of the effects of noteworthy earthquakes in south Asia since 2000. Rather than selecting events based on magnitude, they have been chosen for their effects on communities in the vicinity of the epicentre. Selected earthquakes elsewhere in the Indian Ocean basin are also included as they posed a threat of an Ocean-wide tsunami in the Indian Ocean. For events prior to 2000 view the "Great Quakes" section.
