Myanmar

According to GSHAP data, Myanmar (Burma) lies in a region with high to very high seismic hazard that increases steadily to the north in the Kachin state and Sagaing Division. Earthquakes in the M7.0-8.0 range have been experienced along the Sagaing fault system that runs in a north-south direction. Earthquakes with intermediate foci occur along the borders with India and Bangladesh. The lowest hazard in Myanmar is in the south of the country in the Tanintharyi division.  This map can be reproduced in print or electronically for non-commercial use provided the embedded website link is not removed. and use it to organise these maps on your computer for future reference.
