Chandigarh, Delhi & Haryana, India

According to GSHAP data, Chandigarh lies in a region with high earthquake hazard while Delhi & Haryana lies in areas with low to moderate hazard. As per the 2002 Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) map, Chandigarh & Delhi fall in Zone IV while Haryana falls in Zones II, III & IV. Historically, this region has experienced earthquake in the M5.0-6.0 range.
